So big question. Should you be sore after every workout?
It’s very easy to get caught up in the idea that muscle soreness is an indication of a good workout. Mix in the fact that unfortunately a lot of trainers wear their client’s sore muscles as some form of badge of honour. Celebrating any client who struggles to walk after a tough session. It’s easy to make the distinction that sore muscles equals a good workout.
Now I get it. If you legs feel sore after a tough gym session you know you have worked them and thus it feels like evidence of a productive session but chasing soreness is not the smartest move…there is a better way.
