Having a quick, easy and healthy snack to hand is always going to help when it comes to avoiding riding the sugar train when busy at work. Making them uber tasty is just a massive bonus! Enter these amazing protein balls!
These little guys make an awesome little snack to help keep you going when the gaps between meals get a little too big, they also work great as a quick bite before an early morning run.
Place the following ingredients into a food processor:
- 5 dates
- 3 tbsp of Nut butter (I normally use almond).
- 1 scoop of protein powder (vanilla works well).
Shape them into 6-8 small protein balls and then roll them over your choice of toppings. I normally mix it up with a few rolled in chia seeds, desiccated coconut and cocoa powder. Finally put them in the fridge for a few hours and your good to go.
